I was going to reblog and/or screencap this picture, but I know how a lot of people feel about comments that aren’t praising the picture. I also know about how crazy people get if their material is used to criticize someone else’s issue. I know some of you who like Gossip Girl don’t like the fact the writers have given Chuck another GF that isn’t Blair. But please, please be careful with your tags on pictures with Tika Sumpter with them. Implying Tika looks “funny” around Ed is offensive to some of us who watch Gossip Girl and are people of color. Some of you may think it’s harmless, but tags like can come off as like Ed shouldn’t be around girls who aren’t white when he has every right to do so. Ed and Tika are only doing their jobs and shouldn’t be criticized for doing them.
Ms. Rowling has always said the series would end with “Deathly Hallows.”
But years of back-and-forth correspondence with her, Mr. Kloves said, have revealed that the material in the books is just “the barest surface of what she knows about that world.”
“If you can get her to talk about it, it’s so remarkable what she knows,” he said. “I once e-mailed her and asked her what were the 12 uses of dragon’s blood” — information that is taught to Hogwarts students — “and she wrote back in 30 seconds what they all were. If I ask about Ron’s uncle, I get back five pages about Ron’s uncle, who never appears in the books.”
“I can’t tell you how great this stuff is,” he added. “It’s almost a crime for it not to be published.”
I want to live in J.K. Rowling’s brain, tbh. But I’d settle for another book!
