It’s like I watch a different show, sometimes.
+ Blair spends her summer Lonely Girling around Paris because of her feelings for Chuck. She’s so heart broken that she hurts in her whole body because of Chuck.
+ Blair doesn’t get to go on the perfect date she’s been dreaming about all summer because she has to run after Chuck.
+ Blair sabotages Eva because of her feelings for Chuck.
+ Blair loses a TA position because of Chuck.
+ Blair sabotages Jenny because of her feelings for Chuck.
+ Blair loses Girl’s Inc. because she runs after Chuck.
+ Blair intends to pathetically stalk Chuck/Raina on Valentine’s Day because of her feelings for Chuck.
+ Blair ends up overdoing it and losing her job at W because of her feelings for Chuck.
I don’t see how anyone can seriously say that Chuck is what’s best for Blair when what’s happening on the show clearly *shows* us the exact opposite. I would argue that Blair’s feelings for Chuck are being portrayed as the equivalent of self-sabotage.
